This years panel was made up of 2017 MBA Young Achiever John Khoury, Revit Content Developer at Zenith Interiors, Lidia Cavallo, Senior Accountant at Nugents, Councillor Georgina Oxley, Deputy Mayor at City of Kingston, and James Sturgess, Legal Practice Principal at Macpherson Kelley Lawyers. Discussion covered structured and unstructured training, having frank conversations about what staff wanted to do (and helping them achieve it even if it meant leaving and finding a career elsewhere), giving young people a chance to try new things (and accepting that not all new things work), making sure that new ideas are not dismissed without considered evaluation via work-shopping or documenting in a format that everyone can understand, and identifying existing leaders that may be "blockers" rather than "enhancers".
